Hurricane Estimates: Hurricane season is from first of June to end of November. Storms are given names before the season starts. Fortunately there have been few Hurricanes which affected land in recent years. They can be various levels from a Category 1 to the more destructive Category 5, depending on the speed of their winds. They are unpredictable, travel many hundreds of miles and often cover a very large area. They can cause much damage to a wide variety of property types. |
